Manufacturing
All of our Sound Sleep mattresses are constructed in our own U.S. factory, eliminating inconsistencies commonly found in the outsourced assembly. Here at Sound Sleep, we leverage state-of-the-art technology combined with a team of highly skilled craftspeople to ensure consistent and defect-free products. The foams used in our Sound Sleep products are Certi-pur USA ® tested. All SSP products have chemical-free inherent fire barriers.
Sustainability
Traditional mattress manufacturing practices generate tremendous waste. Sound Sleep Products (our manufacturing facility) manufacturing process is 95% efficient in eliminating waste through smart technology and innovative repurposing of materials. Their Eco Pad® product is created with post production materials with this commitment in mind. Basically this means any leftover pieces in production are used in other product padding.

About Sound Sleep
Since its founding over 30 years ago, Sound Sleep Products has grown into the Northwest’s largest, locally-owned independent mattress manufacturer. Our growth has been fueled by innovative product designs and our deep continuing relationships with retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Alaska and Hawaii. The key to this steady growth in a continually shifting environment is our investment in state-of-the-art equipment and vertical integration throughout the manufacturing process. This allows us to control the quality of all our internal components while creating exclusive product design elements that keep us ahead of the competition.
As an independent manufacturer, Sound Sleep’s unique position allows us to present a comprehensive portfolio of brands and integrated merchandising strategies. A national brand assortment combined with locally developed brands unique to the Northwest marketplace, allows retailers to formulate their own individual, effective, and profitable product assortment. This allows our retail partners to effectively grow their market share through continued customer satisfaction while avoiding the dreaded “one size fits all” marketing program.
Sound Sleep’s Gel Foam received top recognition from Better Homes and Gardens. The Gel Tech “Miranda” was selected from a number of national brands in the magazine’s evaluation. Our long-standing reputation as the premier mattress manufacturer in the Northwest continues as we tirelessly pursue and explore new ideas and implement innovative strategies designed to create a better sleep experience. You won’t find us asleep at the wheel as we expand and grow our business alongside and in cooperation with our retail partners.
